AVAILABILITY & ASSIGNMENT

• Start Date: April 1, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing
• Coverage Model: Clinic + 24-hour hospital call
• Facility Size: 9 beds
• Trauma Level: I & III

SCHEDULE & CALL
Monday – Thursday

• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call Type: Beeper call
• Call Coverage: 24 hours (Mon–Thurs)
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Call Ratio: 1:1
• Weekend Call: Optional (can expand)
• Scheduling Flexibility:
  • Weekday clinic + call only
  • Option to expand to full 24/7 coverage

CLINIC DETAILS

• Patients per Day: ~15 (OB/GYN mix)
• Support:
  • NP managing GYN & low-acuity OB
  • Onsite clinical informatics support during Athena orientation
• Clinic EMR: Athena
• Clinic Setup:
  • 11 exam rooms
  • 2 ultrasound rooms
  • 1 dedicated procedure room
  • Connected to hospital via enclosed skybridge
• In-Office Procedures:
  • Colposcopy
  • LEEP
  • Hysteroscopy
  • IUD / Nexplanon insertions

HOSPITAL COVERAGE DETAILS

• Average Deliveries: 1–2 per day
• Procedures Required:
  • Scheduled & emergent C-sections
  • GYN surgeries
• OR Access: Dedicated block time
• Hospital EMR: Medhost
• Support Services:
  • Pediatric hospitalist coverage
  • 24/7 anesthesia
  • 24/7 radiology
  • Full nursing & OR support

LICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)

• Medical License: Active Alabama license or IMLC eligible
• Board Status: Fellowship required
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
