Locums OB/GYN – Outpatient Only
Location: Irvine, California Availability

• Start Date: ASAP once credentialed
• Contract Length: Through August/September
  • Possible extension
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • 1-hour lunch (8:00–12:00 / 1:00–5:00)
• Call: None (outpatient only)

Practice Setting

• Outpatient only
• Average 18–21 patients per day
• Typical visit lengths:
  • 15 minutes for follow-ups
  • 30 minutes for new patients and procedures
• Patient population: Adolescents (13+) through geriatrics
• EMR: Epic (highly preferred)

Required Clinical Skills & Procedures
OB/GYN Care

• Confirmation of pregnancy (>7 weeks) with bedside ultrasound
• Initial and routine OB visits
• Postpartum care and incision checks
• Well-woman exams (all ages)
• Problem-focused visits (UTI, STI, menopause, HRT, breast pain)

Office-Based Procedures

• IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Biopsies
• Incision and drainage of cysts
• LEEP, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy
• Cryotherapy
• Cervical polyp removal

Licensure, Certifications & Credentials

• Board Certified OB/GYN (required)
• Unrestricted California medical license (required)
• DEA (required)
• BLS or ACLS (required)
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited 4-year OB/GYN residency
