Position Overview

A large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join its growing interventional radiology service. This role offers the opportunity to perform a broad range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Part-time and full-time options are available. New graduates are welcome.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures using CT, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound guidance

  • Provide a range of minimally invasive procedures, including but not limited to:

    • Vascular interventions and catheter-based procedures

    • Embolizations

    • Image-guided biopsies and drainages

    • Non-vascular interventions as indicated by training and credentialing

  • Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient assessments to ensure safety and optimal outcomes

  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans

  • Provide IR services for both inpatient and outpatient populations

  • Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, benefits, and post-procedure care

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR in compliance with HIPAA and billing requirements

  • Participate in quality initiatives and, if interested, clinical research opportunities

Practice Setting & Technology

  • Multispecialty group practice with locations throughout the Bronx

  • Advanced imaging modalities available, including CT and fluoroscopy

  • EMR system: eClinicalWorks

Schedule & Employment Options

  • Flexible scheduling with full-time or part-time options

  • Providers working 20+ hours per week are eligible for full benefits

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist

  • Completion of an accredited IR residency/fellowship

  • Strong procedural and clinical decision-making skills

  • Comfort working in a multidisciplinary clinical environment

  • New graduates encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

  • $350–$400 per hour, based on experience and schedule

  • Comprehensive benefits for providers working 20+ hours per week

  • Malpractice coverage provided for full-benefit providers

  • Providers working fewer than 20 hours per week must carry their own malpractice insurance
