Nocturnist – Full-Time
Syracuse, New York Position Overview

• Seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician
• Full-time Nocturnist role
• Established, physician-led Hospitalist team

Schedule

• 7-on / 7-off rotation
• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekends included in rotation
• No additional call requirement (coverage provided during scheduled night shifts)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Overnight inpatient care
• Admissions and cross-coverage
• Closed ICU rounding on Hospitalist patients
• Comprehensive H&Ps
• Manage acute changes in patient condition
• Coordinate discharge and follow-up planning
• Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams
• EMR: EPIC

Candidate Requirements (Quick Screen)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible – Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Experience Required (No new graduates)
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Not accepting Visa candidates

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary - Salary: $320,320 per year
