Locums – Coos Bay, Oregon | Hematology/Oncology
Role Type: Outpatient, free-standing cancer center
Coverage: ASAP, ongoing, minimum 2 weeks/month
Schedule:

• 4–5 days/week, 8:30a–4:30p
• Admin day or half day if needed
• Call: 1 weekend/month, 1:4 rotation

Clinical Details:

• Function as part of patient care team performing tasks/procedures consistent with Hematology/Oncology licensure
• EMR: EPIC
• Number of physicians: 3
• Trauma Level: III

Patient Load:

• Outpatient: 10–15/day
• Inpatient: Only chemo admissions

Practice Focus:

• 80% oncology, 20% hematology
• Benign heme cases referred out
• Radiation oncologists present
• 2 APPs currently provide coverage

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology (REQUIRED)
• Active OR license preferred (can assist in obtaining)
• DEA: verbal confirmation required

Other Notes:

• Referral fees available for leads
