Schedule: Friday 4:00 PM – Friday 7:00 AM (Full Week of Call)
Clinic: None – Call Only
Coverage Model:

• Seeking 2 Providers

• Ideally 2 full weeks per month

• One week on / one week off model available

• Provider may only work one week at a time due to high patient volumes

Practice Setting

• Tertiary hospital – system call coverage

• In-house call

• Hospital Stroke Certified

• Trauma Level I

• Average Daily Census: ~275

• State-of-the-art Emergency Department

• Strong, collaborative hospitalist team

• EMS transports system patients directly to facility

• EMR: Epic

Clinical Details

• Assigned and Unassigned Patients

• 20-minute call response time required

• Phone Consults: ~5 per day

• Approx. 20 call encounters per day

• Patients Seen: ~15

• 100% Call Back

• Hospitalists handle admissions

• Scheduled cases may arise from clinic if needed; otherwise, procedures originate from ED and inpatient consults

Common Cases & Skills Required

• General Urology

• Advanced Endoscopic Techniques

• Laparoscopic Surgeries

• Ureteroscopy

• Kidney stones and stent placement common

• No robotics

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible – Required

• Fellowship Trained – Required

• Active Wisconsin License – Required

This is a high-volume, tertiary-care Urology call opportunity with strong hospital infrastructure and system-wide coverage responsibilities.
