QUICK SCREEN – REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Required:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible – Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Fellowship Trained (MFM)
• Active Virginia License
• BLS

Preferred:

• AIUM Certification

PRACTICE OVERVIEW

• Two-provider MFM service (one per hospital site)
• 1 rotating NP for support
• No supervision required
• Average 27 scheduled patients per day
• 95% High-Risk OB / 5% Low-Risk OB
• Nursery Level III
• 3 exam rooms
• Onsite ultrasound (GE 10)
• No onsite lab
• EMR: EPIC and Viewpoint

Support Staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team

REQUIRED PROCEDURES / CLINICAL SKILL SET

• Amniocentesis
• Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
• Cerclage (preferred)
• Management of:
  • Pre-eclampsia
  • Multiple gestation
  • Growth restriction
  • Chromosomal abnormalities
  • Congenital abnormalities
  • Pre-term labor
  • Hypertension
  • Thrombophilia
  • Genetic disorders
  • High-risk maternal/fetal comorbidities
• Vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean deliveries
