Locums – Columbia, South Carolina | CRNA Weekday Coverage – Community Hospital Setting

Position Overview:
Excellent CRNA opportunity at a small community hospital offering consistent weekday hours, a diverse surgical case mix, and a structured medical direction model. This assignment is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking steady volume in a collaborative environment.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: April–June 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

• No weekend call noted

• 7 ORs plus one endoscopy suite, including on-campus outpatient surgery center

• Average 30+ cases per day (including out-of-OR cases)

Practice Model & Environment:

• Medical direction ACT model (4:1 ratio)

• Patient population: Ages 12+ (approximately 95% adult, 5% pediatric)

• EMR: Epic

Case Mix Includes:

• Orthopedics

• Spine

• Gynecology

• Ophthalmology

• Plastics

• General surgery

• GI

• CV/TEE

• MRI coverage (as needed)

Required Skills & Procedures:

• General anesthesia

• Spine cases

• Vent management

• Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues

• Arterial line placement

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience

• Board Certified NBCRNA – Required

• Active South Carolina license – Required

• Clean background required (no exceptions)

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS (all certifications must be through AHA)
