Practice Setting

• Coverage: 24/7 coverage for Emergency Department and inpatient consultations
• Hospital Type: Community Hospital
• Beds: 72 Licensed Beds
• Support Staff: Operating Room staff available
• EMR: Cerner

Clinical Scope

• Full general orthopedic coverage
• Higher acuity patients are transferred to a hospital to the north

Licensing Requirements

• Active State Medical License – Required

Credentialing Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible – Required
• Residency: Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved residency program – Required
• Candidate must currently be practicing and not directly out of residency without active clinical work

Required Certifications

• DEA – Required during credentialing
• California Fluoroscopy Permit – Required by start of coverage (not required at time of presentation)
