Practice setting: Emergency Department within a large tertiary care hospital

Level II Trauma Center with comprehensive stroke and STEMI/Heart Center capabilities
-
11 private patient care beds
-
Dedicated trauma room
-
Dedicated pediatric treatment room
-
Anticipated volume: approximately 30 patients per day
-
Patients requiring inpatient admission are transferred to the main campus for continued care with hospitalists, intensivists, and specialty teams

Requirements:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) – Required
-
Emergency Medicine residency trained – Required
-
Family Medicine board certification accepted with:
-
Minimum of 4 years Emergency Medicine experience and/or
-
Emergency Medicine fellowship
-

ATLS – Required
-
ACLS – Required
-
PALS – Required
