Locums Pediatrics Hospitalist – Mountain Home, Arkansas (Willing to License)

Availability

Start Date: May 4, 2026
Schedule: Strict Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
Frequency: 1 weekend per month
Call Type: Remote (hotel/home)
Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Arkansas Medical License – Required

Board Status

Pediatrics – Board Certified (Preferred) / Board Eligible Acceptable

Practice Setting

EMR: Cerner
Setting: Inpatient and nursery coverage, ER coverage
Patient Volume:
- Inpatient med-peds: 1–2 patients over the weekend
- Newborn nursery: ~5 babies per weekend
- ER: 2–3 calls per day (mostly phone triage)

Clinical Responsibilities

Round at least once daily Saturday & Sunday in inpatient unit and nursery
Phone coverage for other issues unless in-person intervention required
Must be able to intubate, place lines, and stabilize infants for transfer
No circumcision required

Experience

Newer graduates acceptable
Board Eligible acceptable
Board Certified preferred
