Schedule

• Shift: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Kent Campus:
  • 2 hospitalists per shift:
    • 1 covers L&D
    • 1 covers ED consults + GYN
  • Providers back each other up
  • No back-to-back 24-hour shifts allowed

Licensure / Certifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (OB/GYN) – Required
• Active Delaware License or IMLC – Accepted

Clinical Scope

• Setting: Inpatient OB Hospitalist (Laborist model)
• Cases: Standard laborist + emergent GYN
• Patient Volume: 12–18 encounters per 24-hour shift
• Monthly Volume: ~125 births
• NICU Level: II

Support Staff

• Midwives available ~70% of the time (expanding to 24/7)
• Registered Nurses on staff

---

Systems

• EMR: EPIC

---

Additional Details

• Reason for Coverage: Physician vacancies
• Environment: Collaborative, able to work independently
