Locums Physician – Primary Care
Location: Fortuna & Ferndale, California Availability

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Volume:
  • Expected: ~18 patients/day
  • Minimum: 18 PPD
• Call Requirements: None

Licenses & Certifications (Required)

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (5 years from residency)
• State License: Active California License – Required
• DEA: Active DEA required prior to start
• Certifications: BLS – Required

Experience & Scope

• Specialty: Family Medicine only
• Patient Population: Mix of Adults & Pediatrics
• Accepted Degrees: MD or DO (BE/BC accepted within guidelines)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for adult and pediatric patients
• Includes chronic pain management follow-up
• Chart closure required within 72 hours

Practice Details

• EMR: Epic
• Patients Per Shift: ~16–18
• Work Environment: Outpatient primary care
