Locums – Athens, Ohio | Nurse Practitioner Orthopedics (Willing to License)
Start & Contract

• Start Date: April 27
• Contract Length: 60–90 days
• Schedule: Tues/Thurs (possible Friday 8am–3pm)
• Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Coverage Needed: 2–3 days per week

Practice Setting

• Clinic / Private Practice
• Department: Orthopedic / Sports Medicine
• Hospital Bed Size: 144
• EMR: Epic

Patient Details

• Patients per day: 25–30
• Patient Age Range: 13–90+
• Services:
  • Non-emergent acute fracture care
  • Cortisone joint injections
  • ViscoSupplementation injections
  • Acute/chronic pain evaluations
• Note: Spine-related issues not seen

Support Staff

• MA, LPN, AT, Clinical Lead, Front Desk Lead, Practice Manager

Skills Required

• Fracture evaluation and management
• Evaluation of acute & chronic orthopedic/sports medicine injuries/conditions
• Performing large and small joint injections/aspirations
• Medication prescription & management

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Ohio NP license prior to start
• DEA: Yes
• Board Certification: NP
• Certifications Preferred: CAQSM
• Willing to License: Yes
• Minimum Experience: 3 years
