Locums Pediatric Anesthesiologist – Hollywood, Florida

Openings:

• 2 positions

Assignment Type / Availability:

• Ongoing locums coverage
• Consecutive shifts preferred
• Flexible monthly scheduling based on need

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8s or 10s)
• Call: None
• Weekend: Not required (optional)

Practice Setting:

• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• 298 beds, 11 ORs
• ~800 cases/month
• EMR: Epic
• Care model: 50% own cases / 50% supervision (2:1 when directing)
• Team: 1 MD, 2 CRNAs

Licenses & Certifications (REQUIRED):

• Board Certified – Anesthesiology
• Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship
• Active Florida license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS

Case Mix:

• General, Ortho, GU, ENT, Dental (majority)
• 60% sick / 40% healthy pediatrics
• Start with simple cases ? increase complexity
• Optional: Pediatric hearts (cath/EP) if comfortable
• No transplants

Procedures:

• IV placement required
• Regional anesthesia preferred (not required)

Additional Notes:

• Reason: Resignations & maternity leave
• Medically directed environment
• Referral fees available
