Clinical Role
Step into a high-volume gastroenterology locums opportunity providing a mix of procedures and call coverage in a large hospital setting. This role is ideal for providers seeking consistent block scheduling with procedural work and inpatient responsibilities.

Position Highlights:

7-day block scheduling (Monday–Monday)

Combination of procedures and call coverage

Large hospital with strong clinical infrastructure

No ERCP or EUS required

Consistent monthly coverage with additional weekend needs
Schedule & Coverage
-
7-day blocks: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
-
24-hour call coverage during assignment
-
Daily schedule includes ~10-hour days
-
OR start time: 7:30 AM
-
Coverage needed: ~1 week per month + weekends
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Setting: Hospital (593 beds)
Patient population: Adults (18+)
Responsibilities Include:

Performing GI procedures in the OR
-
Managing inpatient consults and rounding
-
Providing continuous call coverage
-
Evaluating and treating a wide range of GI conditions
Procedures:
-
General GI procedures
-
No ERCP or EUS required
Support & Technology

Anesthesiology onsite for procedural support

Large hospital with established GI services

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Active Pennsylvania license – required

IMLC accepted
-
DEA required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience required
