Clinical Role
Provide short-term CRNA coverage in a dental surgical suite setting focused on IV moderate sedation. This is a low-volume, low-acuity opportunity ideal for providers seeking quick coverage dates with potential for additional shifts.
Start Date: April 14–15, 2026
Assignment Length: 2 days (potential for additional shifts)
Position Highlights:
- Light daily volume (1–3 patients per day)
- Low-acuity cases with IV moderate sedation only
- No general anesthesia—patients are not fully sedated
- Opportunity for ongoing/per diem shifts
- Supportive team with physician and assistants onsite
Schedule & Coverage
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (9-hour day shifts)
- Coverage Dates: April 14 and April 15
- Potential for additional future shifts
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center / Dental Surgical Suite
Patient Population: Adults (ages 50–70, no pediatrics)
Patients per day: 1–3
Responsibilities Include:
- Administering IV moderate sedation for dental procedures
- Monitoring patient vitals and sedation levels
- Managing IV access and medication administration
- Ensuring patient safety throughout procedures
- Collaborating with physician and support staff
Procedures:
- IV moderate sedation (no full anesthesia cases)
Support & Technology
- Support staff: Physician and 2 assistants
- EMR: Eaglesoft (no training required)
- Facility: 2 active procedure rooms (expanding to 4)
Requirements
- Active Florida License – Required
- BLS & ACLS – Required
- Minimum 2 years experience – Required
