Join a well-supported anesthesia team providing consistent weekday coverage in a low-acuity inpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity for CRNAs seeking a predictable schedule with no call and a manageable case mix.
Start Date: June 29, 2026
Assignment Length: June 29 – September 25, with option to extend (must cover all dates)
40 hour/week guarantee
- No call required – strictly weekday coverage
- Flexible scheduling: 4x10s or 5x8s
- Supervised model with anesthesiologist support (2:1 ratio)
- Low-acuity, “bread and butter” case mix
- Consistent, structured schedule
- Monday – Friday
- Option for:
- 4x10-hour shifts (rotating day off), or
- 5x8-hour shifts
- No call
Setting: Inpatient
Patient Population:
- Adults and limited pediatrics (>1 year old, ASA 1–2)
- Pediatric cases 1 day per week (ear tubes, tonsillectomies & adenoidectomies)
- Administering anesthesia for routine surgical procedures
- Managing elective and emergent C-sections (OR only; no labor epidurals)
- Monitoring patients throughout procedures and recovery
- Collaborating with anesthesiologist and surgical teams
- Bread and butter cases only
- Neurosurgery
- Cardiac or thoracic cases
- Spine surgery
- Cath lab / EP lab
- OB epidurals
- Dental or trauma cases
- Supervision model: 2 CRNAs to 1 anesthesiologist
- EMR: Epic
- NBCRNA Certification – required
- Active Maine license or Compact License – required
- Must be able to cover June 29 – Sept 25 (no exceptions) – required
- COVID and Flu vaccination – required (no exemptions)
- Structured anesthesia care team model
