Required Credentials (Must Have)

• Board Certified (national certification) – REQUIRED
• Active Michigan State License – REQUIRED
• BLS & NRP – REQUIRED
• Neonatology experience required (No new grads)

Schedule & Availability

• 12-hour shifts:
  • Days: 0800 – 2000
  • Nights: 2000 – 0800
• Rotating nights and weekends required
• On-Call: Yes

---

Practice Details

• Setting: Inpatient (Level III)
• Average Census: 12 patients per day
• Patient Population: Neonates (up to 90 days old)
• EMR: Epic

---

Work Environment

• Autonomy: Yes
• Supervision:
  • Neonatologist on-site during daytime (7 days/week)
  • Autonomous from 1600 – 0800
  • Neonatologist available on call overnight

---

Procedures / Skills Required

• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
• Endotracheal intubation
• Umbilical line placement
• Ventilatory support
• Attendance at deliveries and stabilization

---

Additional Details

• No call schedule (listed separately but coverage expectations include nights/weekends)
• Reason for need: Staffing shortages and FMLA coverage
• Ongoing opportunity with potential for permanent placement
