Locums Opportunity – NP/PA (Urgent Care)
Location: Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing Required Credentials

• Board Certified – BC / NCCPA / NP Boards – REQUIRED
• Active North Carolina License – REQUIRED
• BLS – REQUIRED
• PA Certification, Family NP Certification – REQUIRED
• Fellowship – Required
• DOT, PALS/ACLS – Preferred

Experience

• Minimum 12 months experience treating adults and pediatrics (6 months+)
• Must handle high-volume patient care while maintaining a positive, professional attitude
• New grads not considered

Schedule & Availability

• Patients per shift: ~40 (up to 60 PPD depending on site)
• Call Requirements: None
• Dates: To be discussed
• Must complete EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift (set Wednesdays)

Practice Details

• Setting: Urgent Care Center
• Specialty: Urgent Care (MD/PA/NP)
• EMR/Charting: Epic with modified training schedule; all visits charted in EMR
• Support Staff: Center Manager, MA, PSA, Supervising Physician offsite for APP only

Patient Population & Procedures

• Adults and Pediatric Patients, 6 months and up
• Procedures include: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures
• Multiple locations within a 60-mile radius may require coverage

Supervision

• No direct supervision required on site
• HCO provides supervising physician for locum APPs
