Locums Opportunity – Anesthesiology
Location: Waterloo, Iowa (IMLC Accepted)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0630 – 1630, weekends included
Call: Yes
Availability: Must cover 2 weeks per month Required Credentials

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology – REQUIRED
• Active Iowa License or Active IMLC LOQ – REQUIRED (LOQ provided at time of name clear)
• Conscious Sedation – REQUIRED

• Setting: Procedural/OR environment (13 OR rooms)
• EMR: Epic
• Inpatient: No
• Outreach: No
• Telehealth: No
• Number of Physicians: Not specified
• Number of APPs: 2 CRNAs
• Supervision of APPs: Not required
• Daily case volume: 30–50 cases across department

Patient Population & Services

• General anesthesia for OB (including TOLAC) and healthy pediatric patients
• No cardiac or neurosurgery cases
• Conscious sedation required

Job Duties

• Evaluate and monitor patient care before and during surgery
• Provide anesthesia services per departmental needs
