IMLC Welcome – Locums – Williamsport, PA – Cardiologist Job

Clinical Role:

• Locum job opening
• ASAP – ongoing
• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible cardiologist
• Primarily hospital coverage with reading/imaging responsibilities:
  • Stress testing, EKGs, monitors, echocardiograms, nuclear imaging, cardiac MRI, etc.
• Clinical responsibilities include:
  • Inpatient rounding and consults
  • Image interpretation
  • TEEs and cardioversions
  • Occasional proctoring of stress tests
  • Follow-up consults and provider support/questions
• APP support:
  • PA-C assists most mornings
  • Additional NP/PA support for coverage
• Schedule:
  • 8a–5p hospital/clinic coverage
  • 5p–8a off-site call
  • Occasional Friday day-only shifts (8a–5p)
  • Weekend call required when scheduled
• Call expectations:
  • Rare need to come on-site (e.g., stat TEE for dissection)
  • Most calls triaged remotely from hotel
• Must stay within 30 minutes of hospital (multiple hotels within 5 minutes available)
• EMR: Cerner PowerChart & EPIC
• Timely documentation required for consults, TEEs, and cardioversions
