Clinical Role
Join a growing Family Medicine and Urgent Care practice as a Physician Assistant (PA), delivering high-quality primary and acute care across multiple settings. This role offers a combination of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, a collaborative team environment, and predictable weekend coverage.
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Combination of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts; one weekend per month required
Assignment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time options available
Position Highlights:
- Work across Family Medicine Clinic and Urgent Care
- Manage acute illnesses, minor procedures, and chronic disease management
- Collaborative practice with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
- Predictable, family-friendly schedule with no overnight shifts
- Patient volume: 12–15 patients per day
Schedule & Coverage
- Medical Center: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Urgent Care: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Sunday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full-Time: Weekday shifts split between Family Medicine Clinic and Urgent Care (25 hours/pay period)
- Part-Time: Weekday shifts at Urgent Care only
- One weekend per month required
- Shift length: 8–12 hours, no overnight coverage
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Setting: Family Medicine Clinic & Urgent Care
Patient Population: All ages
Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in urgent care and family medicine
- Manage acute illnesses and injuries, including minor procedures
- Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging)
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
- Follow evidence-based guidelines and quality standards

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program – required
- Active Nebraska PA license – required
- NCCPA certification – required
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine – preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
