Position Details

• Clinical Role: Physician (Anesthesiologist)
• Setting: Hospital
• EMR: Epic

---

Availability / Schedule

• Shift Hours:
  • Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Call:
  • Backup call every night
  • Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Rotation:
  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (or similar rotation patterns such as 3 weeks on / 1 week off)

Licenses / Certifications Needed

• ACLS – Required
• BLS – Required
• PALS – Required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for a variety of cases including:
  • General surgery
  • Endoscopy
  • OB (~450 deliveries/year)
  • Orthopedics (including some spine cases)
  • Urology
  • Gynecology
  • Podiatry
  • Cardiac (~380/year including cath lab & TEE)

Skills / Experience Requirements

• Case Logs Required:
  • Must provide proof of experience with:
    • Epidurals
    • Spinals
    • Nerve blocks
