Locums – OB Hospitalist
Location: Tooele, Utah Clinical Role & Coverage

• OB/GYN Coverage Needed: Yes
• First Assist Needed: Yes
• Backup: Available (Physicians, general surgeons, and hospitalists 24/7)
• Providers in Clinic Daily: 2–3
• Program Goals:
  • Provide clinic & L&D support for consistent high-quality care
  • Expand women’s access to care
  • Reduce wait times for OB visits

Schedule

• Clinic Hours:
  • Monday–Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM, plus on-call after hours
  • Friday: 8 AM – 12 PM, plus on-call after hours
• Weekend Coverage: Only on-call Saturday & Sunday
• OR Days for Clinicians: Wednesdays

• Total Deliveries:
  • Monthly: 50
  • Annual: 600
• GYN Surgery Volume:
  • Monthly: 12.5
  • Annual: 150
• NICU: No (Tele-NICU via University of Utah Health)
• Anesthesia: On-call 24/7
• MFM: Refer out for MFM
• Fetal Monitoring System: Cintricity
• EMR:
  • Hospital: MedHost
  • Clinic: Athena
