Locums – Lewisburg, Pennsylvania – Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity (IMLC Accepted)

Position Overview:
RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, clinic and hospital-based cardiology role with procedures and call responsibilities. The assignment is ongoing with a minimum commitment of 6 months preferred.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: May 18, 2026 or June 8, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing (6-month minimum preferred)
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • Full-time coverage required
• Call:
  • 1–2 nights per week
  • 1:4–1:5 weekend call rotation
  • Minimal callback (primarily rounding)
• Practice Setting: Clinic and hospital-based
• Hospital Size: 150 beds
• Patient Volume: 17–18 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adult
• EMR: EPIC

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostic studies, including:
  • Nuclear stress tests
  • Exercise and pharmacologic stress testing
  • Echocardiograms
  • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Cardioversions
  • Ambulatory/echo monitoring
• Participate in inpatient rounding and consults
• Provide call coverage for cardiology service
• Collaborate with APPs and interventional cardiology team as needed
• Perform CT reads (preferred skill)
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EPIC

• Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available
• Collaboration with Interventional Cardiology when applicable

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certification/Eligibility: Cardiology – Required
• State License: Active Pennsylvania license required
  • IMLC accepted (LOQ required)
• Certifications:
  • DEA – Required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience required
• Skills: Experience with cardiac imaging and diagnostic interpretation strongly preferred
