Queens, New York (Near JFK Airport | South Shore) – Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Permanent, full-time opportunity
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible psychiatrist (Child & Adolescent preferred)
Outpatient-only setting
Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week
Average patient volume: 8 per day
No weekends, no call, no holiday coverage
Evening hours required until 7pm Tuesday–Thursday
Moderate case complexity
Must be comfortable with IM injections
Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment across the lifespan
Medication management including psychopharmacology and long-acting injectables
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (therapists, nurses, pharmacists)
Participate in crisis intervention as needed
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans aligned with NYS Office of Mental Health standards
Opportunity for teaching/supervision (if desired)
Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art outpatient behavioral health facility
