Locums Pediatric Critical Care NP – Flagstaff, AZ

Availability

• Dates Needed: July 12–13
• Schedule: 48-hour in-house coverage
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour shifts)

Licensure (Required)

• Active Arizona License

Certifications / Credentials (Required)

• Board Certified – Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
• Acute Care Certification
• DEA
• BLS
• PALS

---

Experience (Required)

• Minimum 1 year PICU experience

Clinical Overview

• Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Inpatient)
• Unit: Pediatrics / PICU
• Patient Population: Ages 0–18
• EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Level: Adult Level I Trauma Center (high pediatric trauma exposure)

Scope of Work / Required Skills

• Intubations
• Central line placement
• Arterial lines
• Lumbar punctures
• Management of pediatric trauma patients (including neurosurgical cases)

Note: No ECMO, CRRT, or transplant cases

---

Volume

• Patients per Day: 7–15

---

Support

• Inpatient hospital setting with multidisciplinary support

---

Call Requirements

• None

---

Additional Notes

• High-acuity pediatric exposure due to trauma center designation
• Short-term, high-impact coverage need
