Locums Opportunity – Breast Imaging Radiologist

Facility: Outpatient Breast Imaging Centers (Trauma Level II)

Availability & Schedule

• Start Date: August 3, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Commitment: Full-time, several months minimum
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Setting: 100% onsite (no remote)
• Call: None
• Weekends: None

Requirements

• Board Certification: Required
• License:
  • Active Louisiana license or
  • IMLC accepted
• Fellowship: Breast Imaging Fellowship required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
• Credentialing: Must obtain full COI and Louisiana PCF coverage

Clinical Scope

• Screening and diagnostic mammography
• Breast ultrasound
• Stereotactic biopsies
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsies

Volume & Workflow

• Patients per Shift: ~40
• Diagnostics: ~18 per day (with screenings mixed in)
• Procedures: A few biopsies per day (lower diagnostic volume on procedure days)
• Admissions: Required

• Outpatient-focused breast imaging practice
• Predictable weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities
• Strong fit for fellowship-trained breast imagers seeking consistent volume
