Location: Clinton, North Carolina
Critical Requirements (All Required at Submission)
- Board Certified General Surgeon – REQUIRED
- Active North Carolina (NC) License – REQUIRED
- NC DEA (with NC address) – REQUIRED
- NC Medicare & Medicaid credentialing – REQUIRED
- Comfortable with Bread & Butter General Surgery – REQUIRED
- EMR: Meditech 6.1 experience – REQUIRED
Availability (Specific Dates Required)
- July 10, 2026 (7:00 AM) – July 13, 2026 (7:00 AM)
- July 24, 2026 (7:00 AM) – July 27, 2026 (7:00 AM)
Schedule
- 24-hour call shifts only
- Call Type: Beeper
- Response Time: Within 20 minutes (must remain within required distance per bylaws)
Clinical Scope
Bread & Butter General Surgery, including:
- Hernia repair
- Cholecystectomy
- Breast surgery
- “Lumps and bumps”
- Abscess drainage
- Endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy)
- Appendectomy
- Small bowel and colon surgery
Practice Setting
- Call coverage only
- Admissions required
Facility & Logistics
- On-site hospital-owned apartments provided
- Clean, furnished
- Cable and Wi-Fi included
- Preferred housing is on campus for quick response compliance
