Critical Requirements

• Board Certified in Neonatology – REQUIRED
• Recent clinical experience – REQUIRED
  • Must be clinically active within the last 12 months
  • Minimum 6 months of Neonatology experience
• Active Maryland (MD) License – REQUIRED (IMLC not accepted)
• Must be available for all required dates

Schedule

• June 9–19 (full coverage required)
• 24-hour shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 PM)
• Rounding + call from home/hotel

Practice Setting

• Level II NICU
• 8-bed NICU
• Average daily census: 3 NICU patients
• Newborn nursery census: ~5
• Approximately 900 deliveries per year

Clinical Scope

• Neonatal rounding
• Newborn nursery coverage
• On-call neonatal support from home/hotel

---
