Locums - Lexington, Kentucky, CRNA Opening (Willing to License)

Assignment Details
Start Date: August 17, 2026 (flexible start after August)
Contract Length: 13 weeks with option to extend
Schedule: Full-time; 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with 30-minute lunch)
Coverage Requirement: Providers must be able to work at least 2 weeks per month
Setting: Hospital-based coverage

Clinical Responsibilities
Patient volume: 1–9 cases per day depending on acuity
Patient population: All ages (no neonatal cases)
Case types: Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (no cardiac, no OB)
NORA cases required
Skills required: Intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, line placement
Regional blocks unlikely

Call Coverage
No call required

Practice Setting
Level I Trauma Center
Care team model: CRNAs medically directed by anesthesiologists
Typical ratios: 2:1 or 3:1 (anesthesiologist to CRNA), may go up to 4:1 for low-acuity cases
Team includes CRNAs, anesthesia techs, anesthesiologists, and residents
Academic-style environment with attending physicians often supervising residents
EMR: Epic preferred

Requirements
NBCRNA Certification – Required
Active Kentucky license – Required (willing to license)
Minimum 1 year experience – Required (no new grads)
Recent experience in large medical center – Required
Level I trauma experience – Required

Additional Details
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
