Locums - York, Pennsylvania, Gastroenterology Opening (IMLC Welcome)

Assignment Details

Contract Length: Ongoing

Coverage Dates:

• June 15, 2026
• July 26, 2026

• September 28, 2026
• October 1, 2026

Schedule: 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) plus night call
Coverage Need: Approximately 1 week per month and weekends

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide gastroenterology procedural coverage and inpatient consult services
Manage patient consults and follow-up care
Collaborate with APPs regarding patient management and care plans
Total census: Approximately 30–50 patients
New consult volume: Approximately 9–16 patients per day
Adult patient population (18+)
No ERCP or EUS procedures required
Document all care in EMR

Call Coverage
Night call required
Call coverage included with procedural shifts

Practice Setting
Hospital-based gastroenterology practice
593-bed hospital
Anesthesiology onsite for procedural support
APP collaboration for consults and follow-up management
EMR: Epic

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterology – Required
Active Pennsylvania license – Required
IMLC Welcome
DEA – Required
Minimum 1 year of experience – Required
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
Temporary privileges available with clean file
