Locums – Huntington Park, California, Family Practice Physician Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible family practice physician
• FQHC setting serving an underserved patient population
• Hiring due to growth and increased community need
• Outpatient only
• Requested start date: June 1, 2026
• Six month coverage assignment
• Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p
• Average patient volume: 20-22 per day
• Able to see full scope family medicine patients – newborns through geriatrics
• No weekends
• No call
• No hospital responsibilities
• Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
• Preferred: Already enrolled in Medi-Cal
• Requirements:
  • Active California medical license
  • Active California DEA
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Patient population consists primarily of Medi-Cal, Medicare, and county-based insurance plans
• Some HMO, PPO, and self-pay patients
• EMR: AmazingCharts
