Locums - Port Charlotte, Florida, Emergency Medicine Opening

Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Duration: 3 months

Practice Highlights:

• Join a dynamic Emergency Medicine team led by an experienced and supportive medical director
• Strong nursing staff and excellent specialty backup available
• Multi-specialty services onsite
• Must be willing to work at FSEDs associated with the main facility

Facility Details:

• 20 Emergency Department beds
• Annual ED volume: approximately 35,000 visits
• ED ultrasound available
• Fully integrated PACS system
• ED physicians do not write admitting orders
• Exceptional medical staff backup support

EMR & Documentation:

• Meditech P-doc EMR
• M-Modal dictation

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine – Required
• ABPS Emergency Medicine boarded candidates considered
• Emergency Medicine residency trained – Required
