Locums - Dubois, Pennsylvania, Urology Opening

Assignment Length: 6 months

Schedule & Shift Details:

• 24-hour call shifts
• Shift times: 7:00am–7:00am the following day

Coverage Dates Needed:

• 7:00am 6/29 – 7:00am 6/30
• 7:00am 7/22 – 7:00am 7/24
• 7:00am 9/16 – 7:00am 9/18
• 7:00am 11/18 – 7:00am 11/19
• 7:00am 12/2 – 7:00am 12/3

Additional Scheduling Notes:

• Client may add additional dates before or after requested coverage if provider prefers longer blocks
• Busy regional hub facility serving surrounding communities including Clearfield, Elk, and Brookville

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based urology coverage
• Inpatient rounding required each morning

Patient Population:

• Adult patients

Facility Details:

• 280-bed hospital

Support Staff:

• Nursing staff
• Anesthesia team
• Emergency Department support

Procedures & Skills Required:

• Cystoscopy
• Ureteral stent placement
• Kidney stone treatment
• Possible stone extraction
• Holmium laser lithotripsy
• Foley catheter placement consultation
• Management of hematuria
• UTI management
• Rare testicular torsion cases
• ED and inpatient consultation coverage

EMR:

• Cerner (inpatient)
• GE Centricity (outpatient records access)

Requirements:

• Board Certified Urologist – Required
• Active Pennsylvania license – Required
• DEA – Required
• ACLS – Required
• BLS – Required
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• 2 years preferred

Credentialing:

• Emergency privileges available within 1–2 weeks for providers who complete documents promptly
