Locum and Locum-to-Perm - Lima, Ohio, Cardiothoracic Surgery Job

Coverage Dates Needed:

• July 9 (7am) to July 16 (7am)
• July 29 (7am) to August 5 (7am)
• September 11 (7am) to September 16 (7am)

Assignment Details:

• Hospital-based Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage
• 24-hour call shifts
• Coverage needed for gaps in call schedule
• Approximately 10–14 days of call coverage needed per month

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based rounding and surgical call coverage

Facility Details:

• Trauma Level II facility
• 20 operating rooms
• Adult patient population
• Average of 1 surgical case per day

Support Staff:

• 3 Physician Assistants supporting service line

Required Procedures & Surgical Experience:

• CABG
• Arterial revascularization using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery
• Redo coronary revascularization with or without valve surgery
• Pericardial window
• Heart valve repair and replacement
• Mitral valve repair

EMR: Epic (preferred experience)

Requirements:

• Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon – Required
• Fellowship Training – Required
• Active Ohio license – Required
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• Must be able to perform all listed procedures – Required
• Must be available for listed coverage dates – Required
• Epic experience – Preferred
