Available Shift Times

• 7:00a – 4:00p
• 7:30a – 4:30p
• 8:00a – 5:00p
• 8:30a – 5:30p

Shift scheduling flexibility available based on provider availability.

Work Expectations

• 8 hours of reading time daily
• 30 minute to 1 hour lunch break
• Expected productivity:
  • Approximately 7 wRVU/hour
• Workflow organized oldest-to-newest to prevent cherry-picking

Modalities & Clinical Responsibilities

Required Modalities

• General CT
  • Includes unenhanced head CT
  • C-spine
  • Level II trauma studies
• Ultrasound
  • Including 1st trimester OB ultrasound
• X-ray

Preferred Experience

• Subspecialty fellowship training
• Light procedural capability preferred

Excluded Studies

• No mammography
• No neuro MRI/spine/stroke subspecialty reads
• No nuclear medicine
• No MSK MRI unless fellowship trained

Procedures (Preferred, Not Required)

Minor Procedures

• CT-guided procedures
• Ultrasound-guided procedures
• Abscess drainages
• Biopsies
• Chest tubes
• Thyroid FNA

Additional Information

• LPs, paracentesis, and thoracentesis generally handled by NP staff
• Fluoroscopy helpful but not required
• Typical procedure volume:
  • 2–5 minor procedures/day

Volume Expectations

• Approximately 60–100 cases per day
• Roughly 50% cross-sectional imaging mix if not performing procedures
• Mix of:
  • Inpatient
  • Outpatient
  • STAT coverage

License & Certification Requirements

Required

• Board Certified in Radiology
  • American Board of Radiology
• Active Ohio License OR IMLC with LOQ in hand
• ACLS Certification
  • American Heart Association certification required if performing procedures
• BLS Certification
• DEA
• Ohio CSR
• Minimum 2 Years Experience
• NPDB Self Query
  • Must be within the last 6 months

Licensing

• Facility willing to license
• IMLC accepted
