Ongoing staffing need

Practice Setting:
Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic

Summary of Work:
Provide care for general hematology and oncology patients with support from a physician and an additional APP.

Responsibilities include:

Responding to questions from care team members
Answering patient-related inquiries
Ordering and following up on labs and imaging
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Signing chemotherapy orders

Must be comfortable caring for both hematology and oncology patients. Subspecialty support is available throughout the network.

Adults

Patient Volume:
10–12 patients per day

Support Staff:

1 Physician
1 Additional APP

Practice Details:

No procedures required
Single practice location
No resident or fellow involvement

Training Requirement:

Willingness to complete the APSHO Cancer Therapy Prescribing Course (approximately 25 hours) if not previously completed
Course and time are paid by the facility

Requirements:

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Required
Acute Care Certification not required
Prior Hematology/Oncology experience – Required
Must be comfortable signing chemotherapy orders – Required
Active New Hampshire License or Active IMLC – Required
COVID Vaccine – Required
Flu Vaccine – Required
EPIC Experience – Required
