Locums - Derry, New Hampshire, Emergency Medicine Opening

Practice Setting:
Emergency Department

Facility Details:

• Estimated annual volume: 10,000 visits during year one
• 24 hours of physician coverage
• 10,000-square-foot Emergency Department
• 11 emergency treatment bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay
• Separate adult and pediatric waiting areas
• All private treatment rooms
• State-of-the-art imaging services including:
  • CT
  • Ultrasound
  • Radiology
• Dedicated ambulance bay for EMS access

Patient Care Model:
Patients requiring inpatient admission will be transferred to the main campus with seamless handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialty physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients
• Manage a broad range of acute and emergent conditions
• Coordinate care with EMS, specialists, hospitalists, and intensivists
• Facilitate appropriate transfers and admissions as needed

Requirements:

• Board Certified Emergency Medicine (BCEM) – Required
• Board Certified Family Medicine (BCFM) with Emergency Medicine experience – Required
• Board Certified Internal Medicine (BCIM) with recent Emergency Department experience – Required
