Hospital-Based Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Practice
Position Overview:
Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide Hematology/Oncology care in an outpatient-focused oncology practice with inpatient collaboration as needed.
The provider will work closely with hematologist/oncologists, infusion teams, nurse navigators, and support staff while managing patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.

All ages
Patient Volume:
11–16 patients per day
Department Details:
- Hematology/Oncology
- Hospital size: 686 beds
- Outpatient-focused oncology practice
- Strong multidisciplinary support team
- EPIC EMR
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients
- Provide follow-up care and ongoing treatment management
- Manage patients with:
- Solid tumor cancers
- Hematologic malignancies
- Active hematologic conditions
- Support patients receiving:
- Chemotherapy
- Immunotherapy
- Oncology supportive therapies
- Collaborate with physicians and infusion teams
- Coordinate care across the oncology network
Support Staff and Resources:
- Hematologist/Oncologists
- Oncology Nurse Navigator
- Clinic RNs and LPNs
- Infusion Nursing Team
- Oncology Research Nurse
- Oncology Social Worker
- Dietitian
- Mental Health Support
- Financial Navigator
- Oncology Provider Coordinator
- Oncology/Infusion Department Nurse Manager
- Centralized Prior Authorization Team

- Onsite laboratory services

- PET scans (including PSMA PETs)

- Cancer rehabilitation services

- 5 clinic exam rooms
- Dedicated oncology clinic staff
Infusion Center:
- 9 infusion chairs
- 2 private infusion treatment rooms
- 2 fast-track triage rooms
