Practice Setting:
Hospital-Based

Reason for Coverage:
Physician Departure

Schedule Details:

• Inpatient Neurology Coverage
• Call only while on-site

Patient Population:
Hospitalized Neurology patients

Patient Volume:
Approximately 20 patients per day

Practice Details:

• 100% Inpatient Neurology
• No other Neurologists will be present during the locum assignment
• Neurology group consists of:
  • 5 Physicians
  • 5 Advanced Practice Providers

Facility Details:

• Trauma Level II
• Onsite Laboratory
• Onsite X-Ray Services

Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Neurology consultations
• Daily patient management and rounding
• Acute neurological evaluations
• Stroke-related care and treatment
• Performance of required neurological procedures

Required Procedures:

• Lumbar Puncture
• Thrombolytic Therapy

EMR:
EPIC

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist – Required
• Active South Carolina License – Required
• Active DEA – Required
• BLS – Required
• 100% Clean Background – Required (No Exceptions)
