Availability Requirements

Must be able to work a 14 Days On / 14 Days Off schedule

Schedule

Rotation begins on a Monday and ends on a Sunday
Typical shift hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend coverage required during scheduled rotation:
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend PM call required on both weekends during the 14-day rotation
Call coverage only during the provider's scheduled 14-day block

Note: The facility requires providers who can fully accommodate the 14-on/14-off schedule.

License & Certification Requirements

Required

Active Indiana Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
MD or DO

Preferred

Fellowship Training

PMHNP Candidates

Practice Details

Adult inpatient psychiatry
48-bed behavioral health unit
15–20 patients per day
Admissions required
Assigned rounding patients
One psychiatrist onsite at a time
Supported by:
- 2 Inpatient NPs
- PRN NP coverage as needed

Call Coverage

Call Type: Beeper Call
Required Response Time: 30 Minutes
Weekend PM call coverage during scheduled rotation
