Locums - General Surgery Call Coverage for eastern North Carolina

• Clinical Role:

• Coverage needed as follows
  • 7/1726 7a to 7/21/26 7a
  • 9/25/26 7a to 9/28/26 7a
  • paid orientation required prior to first shift
  • Future dates may also be needed
• Do not need to stay on-site while on call 
• Monthly surgical cases on average is 65
• Locum’s surgeon does not respond to codes 
• Procedures include appendectomies, strangulated hernias, colonoscopy, cholecystectomy, I&D’s, EGD, amputations, and emergency procedures
• Support staff includes two physicians and 1 nurse
• EPIC EMR
• Board Certification required
• Active NC license and DEA required
