7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

5x8 schedule

Must be full-time

30-minute unpaid lunch

Must be flexible with scheduling

No consecutive days off

Monday and Friday coverage is a high priority

Medical direction model

Providers must be able to float between locations

Coverage Details

Coverage needed 4–5 shifts per month

Approximately 60+ cases per day

Patient population includes all ages

Department Information

Anesthesiology Department

20 Operating Rooms including:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Gynecology
• ENT/Eyes
• Vascular
• Thoracic
• Cardiac
• Neurosurgery
• Trauma

5 NORA locations including:

• Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Electrophysiology (EP)
• Endoscopy (ENDO)
• MRI

Equipment

Drager anesthesia machines

Philips patient monitoring systems

Preferred Skills

Cardiac anesthesia experience

Vascular anesthesia experience

Neuro anesthesia experience

Pediatric anesthesia experience

Providers will not be required to perform heart and lung cases

EMR

Epic

Credentialing

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days

Requirements

NBCRNA Board Certification required

Active North Carolina license required

Compact license candidates will be considered for licensure

Minimum 1–2 years of CRNA experience required

No new graduates

ACLS required

PALS required

Must be willing to float between coverage locations
