o Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible thoracic surgeon
o IMLC candidates accepted
o 24-hour call coverage
o Primarily inpatient service
o Full scope thoracic surgery practice
o Emergency outpatient consults and follow-up visits as needed

• Coverage Dates:
o Orientation: June 25
o Proctoring to be scheduled
o June 26 at 7:00 AM – June 29 at 7:00 AM
o July 31 at 7:00 AM – August 10 at 7:00 AM
o October 17 at 7:00 AM – October 21 at 7:00 AM
o November 3 at 7:00 AM – November 6 at 7:00 AM
o November 20 at 7:00 AM – November 30 at 7:00 AM
o December 18 at 7:00 AM – December 29 at 7:00 AM
o Please only submit physicians who can provide coverage for the listed dates

• Cases and Procedures:
o Full scope thoracic surgery
o Esophageal procedures
o VATS procedures
o Chest surgery
o Wedge resections
o Robotic thoracic surgery
o Open thoracic surgery

• Clinical Support:
o APP support available
o APP does not require physician supervision

• EMR and Documentation:
o EPIC EMR
o Dragon dictation

• Requirements:
o Board certified or truly board eligible thoracic surgeon
o BLS certification required
o ACLS certification required
o Must provide case logs demonstrating:
• 125 thoracic surgery cases within the last 12 months
• At least 10 robotic cases within the last 12 months
o Michigan license preferred due to timeframe
o Will consider physicians with IMLC Letter of Qualification
