Board Requirements

• Board Certified preferred
• Will consider truly Board Eligible candidates

Certifications

• BLS preferred

Practice Overview

• Established primary care practice
• 5 physicians on staff
• 1 APP on staff
• Locum will not supervise other providers
• Physician coverage available during assignment
• No call responsibilities
• No inpatient responsibilities
• No ED backup coverage
• No code response requirements

Patient Volume & Support

• Approximately 3 patients per hour
• 13 exam rooms
• On-site laboratory services
• Emergency equipment available, including defibrillator

Clinical Responsibilities

Primary Care

• Adult outpatient medicine
• Preventive care
• Chronic disease management
• Acute care visits

Required Procedures

• EKG interpretation
• Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
• Employment physicals
• Disability examinations

Support Staff & Resources

• Physician support available during coverage
• APP support
• On-site laboratory
• Athena EMR

---

Ideal Candidate

• Comfortable in a busy outpatient primary care setting
• Experienced with adult and geriatric populations
• Proficient in outpatient medicine, EKG interpretation, and occupational medicine evaluations
• Available for an ongoing weekday assignment beginning ASAP
