Schedule

12-hour shifts

Shift start times include:

• 7:00 AM
• 12:00 PM
• 7:00 PM

No 24-hour shifts

Practice Setting

Hospital-Based Emergency Department

Level IV Trauma Center

Low-volume Emergency Department

New Emergency Department and hospital facility

Emergency Department Information

Annual Volume: Approximately 25,000 visits

Treatment Rooms: 7

Behavioral Health Rooms: 2

Trauma Rooms: 2

Observation/Admission Rooms: 4

Staffing Model

36 hours of physician coverage daily

Single physician coverage from 3:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Additional coverage provided by a combination of physicians and advanced practice providers

Requirements

Active Indiana medical license required

Indiana CSR required

DEA required

Not enough time available to obtain licensing prior to coverage dates

Board Certified Emergency Medicine preferred

Emergency Medicine residency training preferred

Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians will be considered if:

• ABEM certified, or
• Possess extensive Emergency Medicine experience
