Outpatient Cardiology
Primarily outpatient non-invasive cardiology role within a collaborative multi-specialty medical group
Focused on high-quality patient care, diagnostic cardiology services, and continuity of care
Well-supported clinical environment with strong referral network support
Reason for coverage: Physician retirement in October

Patient Volume
Average of 16 clinic patients per day
Average inpatient admissions per physician per day: 0

Facility Information
61-bed facility
Trauma Level IV
0 ICU beds

Cardiology Team
One cardiologist currently in the group who will retire in October
Partnership with a local hospital for ECHO and EKG interpretation support
No other cardiologists will be present during locum coverage
Collaborate with 2 APRNs

Patient Population
Adult patients

Procedures Required
Echocardiography
Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
ECHO interpretation

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology required
If Board Eligible, date of graduation must be provided
Current Vermont license required or willingness to obtain licensure accepted
DEA required prior to start date (no exceptions)
CPR required prior to start date (no exceptions)
CPR for Healthcare Providers required
ACLS required
BLS required
Providers needing to obtain a Vermont license will be considered

Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 2 months, with the possibility of expedited processing if needed
