Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient Coverage

• Admissions required
• Assigned rounding patients
• Orthopedic trauma consultations
• Surgical management of traumatic orthopedic injuries
• Inpatient follow-up and postoperative care

Trauma Coverage

• Level II Trauma Center coverage
• Emergency orthopedic trauma evaluations
• Fracture management
• Operative trauma cases
• Multidisciplinary trauma team collaboration

Practice Details

Ideal Candidate

• BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon
• Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon preferred
• Comfortable with acute fracture care and trauma surgery
• Experienced in hospital-based trauma coverage
• Able to provide both clinical coverage and call responsibilities
